A gear position indicator. It reads your bike's gearbox and shows exactly what gear you're in on a small LED display, usually mounted near the dash or handlebar. No more guessing between neutral and second at a stop light, or losing track mid-race.
This is the display unit by itself. You still need a bike-specific harness to hook it up, that's GIpro DS-Series G1 Harness Kit Only. Already have a matching harness from another order? Then this unit is all you need.

No, this is the unit only. You'll need the matching harness kit for your specific bike, sold separately, or already have one from a prior order.
What does the install involve?
Usually one plug under the seat, plus routing the display cable and sticking it to the dash with the included pads.
Will it drain my battery when the bike is parked?
No, these units don't draw power with the ignition off.
Why isn't my bike on the compatible models list?
First-generation GIpro DS units read gear position through your bike's diagnostic port, which most manufacturers didn't add until around 2003. If your bike is older or doesn't have one, the GIpro X-type works on virtually any bike instead.
